YumYum Guyette passed away and crossed over the rainbow bridge on Friday, June 6, 2024, in the arms of her father David Guyette, after having been diagnosed with Regenerative Anemia her health took a drastic turn. She was 6 years old.

YumYum came into our lives as a newborn stray cat. YumYum quickly attached to David and together they were awesome. Yumyum would groom David and also sleep cuddled up on his arm. YumYum got her name for when she first came in she went after everything to eat.

For 6 years of life YumYum was very shy around others but would always come to David. She was his lap cat.

There were times at night, when the lights were out if you were walking about the house you would see her little yellow eyes then dart across the floor into the darkness.

The house is a little silent now that she is gone.

YumYum is proceeded in death by her aunt Grey Grey (who also passed away as well on June 5, 2024), uncle LBS, her 2 brothers that were never named, her mother “Mama Cat”, the twins, Buttons, Snowball, and other stray cats.

She leaves behind her sister Taco, brother Junior, and aunt Stripes, and her human family of The Guyettes.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks to love your pets and treat them as family members because they are. Also ask if you can to donate to your local shelters and veterinarian offices to help those who can not afford any treatment for the pets. Yumyum would have wanted it that way.

Yumyum has been cremated and is now at home.

YumYum, you will be forever missed. Thank you for the time you were with us. Take care and we will see you soon.
