McGriff – Griffers – Griffy – Grifferkins Satka

I have no words to accurately describe the hole in my heart that my Griffers has left. He was my best friend. He was the best cuddler and had the softest fur, especially right behind his left ear. He was 100% food driven and had perfected the big puppy eye gaze that I don’t think anyone was ever able to resist. Coming home from work was the best part of every day…seeing his butt wiggle in excitement. Night time was the 2nd best part of the day watching him see how close he could snuggle next to me and how many covers he could steal. Soft squeaky toys were his favorite…especially his giraffey and his alligator. He loved the outdoors and stopping to smell every single bush and weed. In the end when he couldn’t walk very well I carried him to all his favorite smelly places (I’m sure we made quite a sight.)

He loved his grandpa, his best buddy. And his Grandpa misses him deeply. Our hearts and home will never be the same without him.

I know he fought to the end to stay with us. I know he would have kept fighting if I had l let him. I hope there is a heaven and I hope he has found my Mom there and his sissy Eliza.

I love you my Griffers. Run free my heart.
